  • Comment: Can't select custom interpreter

I just had the same issue with 1.2.8. It seems that LunarEclipse dislikes the name of the executable ("lua5.1.exe"). A very simple fix is to create a hard link or a copy name "lua.exe". It would be great if you could include this info for other Windows users.

  • Weby starts search even without search string

Assume you have a Weby entry for Leo with 'URL' set to "http://dict.leo.org/" and 'Query' set to "?search=%s". When you typed "Leo", Launchy 2.0 used to open only the main URL. But when you typed "Leo foo", it opened "http://dict.leo.org/?search=foo". Launchy 2.1.2, however, opens "http://dict.leo.org/?search=Leo" when you only type "Leo". This looks like a regression to me.

  • Weby corrupts URL encoding

The Weby plugin distributed with Launchy 2.0 reencodes the percentage signs in search URLs. For instance, Weby expands the search string http://www.amazon.de/s?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%s to http://www.amazon.de/s?url=search-alias%253Daps&field-keywords=test for “test” as input. Effectively, this corrupts the search. This bug affects both searches defined in Weby as well...

  • Followup: RE: Suggestion: Multiple instances of Launchy

Bogdan, I thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately Launchy won’t start a second instance, no matter what the name of the exe. Any ideas as to why?.
