First of all: thanks to all of you, that are evolving and devoloping digikam ! Digikam is an outstanding open source product.
I'm running the release candidate 2 (0.10.0-rc2) on opensuse 10.3 with the latest kde4. I installed it from download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSUSE_10.3/
I can work well with rc2 -- but suddenly digikam crashes. This happens regulary...

Digikam starts correctly and it all does look great! When I browse through he pictures digikam suddenly collapses. I can reproduse the crash -- means: it happens regulary after 10 to 30 seconds.
The application digiKam (digikam) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
There are no more informations available with "details".
This seems to be a major bug here...

If I use special characters like german Umlaute (äöüÄÖÜ) in the file-name, then the wiki won't be saved correctly. Under the particular name new content is not saved at all -- instead whole the wiki is saved in a new file under a "corrected" file name without "special" characters. At least, there is no content loss, but I don't see why it doesn't save the content in the particular file...
