The "toc" property in DITA2Confluence produces a single wiki page with the hyper-linked TOC of the map. It doesn't implement the set-sort-id. And instead of using the Confluence pagetree macro, I use the pagetree 2 macro. (Pagetree2 macro is part of the Theme Builder.) To implement an expandable TOC in the left nav (mileage might vary but this should give you the idea): 1...

Thanks, I posted my question on there, but the only response I got was "Disable javascript in your browser and then reload the page. This can happen if there are two instances of pagetree2 on a page." Should I not be combining the TreeNavigation page with the pagetree2 macro? I thought that was what I was supposed to do based on the documentation provided. I'll follow up on...

Oh, also, if I set the generatetoc=false, there is no Home page for the space and Confluence automatically creates one for me. I was just assuming it would make the first XML file into my Home page, but it did not.

This discussion is great (thanks for pointing me to it Lisa). I am having a few issues though after changing "pagetree" to "pagetree2": -The very first XML file on the dita map is showing up at the very end of the TOC instead of at the beginning -Once I create the TreeNavigation page, it won't let me ever access it again to edit it. Every time I click the...

  • Followup: RE: How can you get the wiki to display images?

Yes, even with the absolute path, I get the same error message. When I removed the "./" before the doc in the confluence.content.xml file path, it builds the space and pages and even in the Attachments shows the correct path on my C: drive to the images but still does not display them on the page. Do you use images in your documentation wiki? If so, would you mind show me the...

But with the theme build plug in, it seems that the TOC only appears on the main page. Once you get into an actual page, you lose the TOC. The need is to have a TOC in the left pane at all times, and that's what the Confluence template offered, though I guess it can't be organized hierarchically. I guess concessions will have to be made one way or the other.

We are applying the same template to our help that Confluence uses for their help page, but when we apply that template, it builds it's own TOC, so I guess I need to remove the portion of code to build the TOC. Problem is, that template arranges all topics alphabetically, and I'm not sure how to get the sorting ID macro to still apply to the TOC built by that template.

  • Followup: RE: How can you get the wiki to display images?

Alright, I changed it just path="doc" and it built, but the images still don't display. I still get this error message: "Unable to render embedded object: File (scheduling system flow.png) not found." Could it be that PNG files are not supported? I don't know why they wouldn't be, but I can't think of any other reasons why these images won't display. They display...

  • Followup: RE: How can you get the wiki to display images?

Okay, I changed the hrefs to point to the image files in the same folder, but they still won't display. In Confluence when I look at the attachments, here's the path it shows for the images (and why they won't display): "C:\Documents and Settings\lee.eubanks\My Documents\Q3 2009\Scheduling\.\doc\ditamap\client search results.png" The "\.\" is messing up the path for...

How would you enter the href path? "href="staff schedule search.png" ?.
