I'm using libgphoto2 2.4.99.7 to retrieve photos and videos from an Android phone (an HTC Evo). The command 'gphoto2 --list-files' shows all the JPEG photos on the phone, but doesn't show videos, which have a mp4 extension, and which live in the same directory (DCIM/Camera) as photos on the phone. As a consequence, the videos don't show up in Shotwell either.
