I was able to get a SAMSUNG SGH-e635 to work. The only way I could get this phone to connect to my linux box was to install bitpim, get bitpim to recognize my phone (under SCH-A310 & /dev/ttyUSB0 - SGH-e635 not supported with bitpim), and run comsams.

I am having the same problem. I get a listing of recordings, but cannot do anything with them. Plus there are no tv listings/live tv.
