This patch:
- prevent timestamp changes while installing headers.
- Intervert version of the DSO and the suffix (Win32DLL use another condition anyway)
- only run ldconfig when DESTDIR is empty.

There is some weird issue with the fortran sources when debuginfo are extracted. This seem to be created because of the use of relative path within the Makefile.am.
The original problem might be in automake; nevertheless, until the problem is sorted, an acceptable workaround would be to avoid the use of relative pathes within Makefile.am most of the time.
The side effect is not applied...

This patch fix the undefined nonweak symbol when using a system/shared zlib on *Nix.
The same problem might appear on other target including mingw32.
This patch shouldn't break anything if zlib is compiled statically.

Hello!
I'm trying to use modular library builds of sox using libtool-ltdl-devel. That would be useful for Fedora, which can provide the free non-patented part within the repositories and additional libraries (for mp3 support) with third part repositories. (amr support will need an end-user rebuilt as it is non-redistributable).
