Current version in cvs doesn't compile in debian
un-stable, the reason is:
1. QTDIR is not defined by default, the qt includes are
in /usr/include/qt3, and the libs in /usr/lib, this
problem can be solved with --with-qt-includes and
--with-qt-libraries
2. KDEDIR is not defined, and the configure doesn't work.

you need install with --enable-rpm-install
make the /etc/hp and link the hplip.conf, and add the init script manually.
