Okay, JVM should not be the problem. We tested the jar some minutes ago and could not reproduce the problem. You said the jar is not corrupted, maybe the problem has nothing to do with ogre4j?.

I don't think that were are going to put the demos into the binary distribution. The example application frameworks only exists to show developers how they can use ogre4j and to port the native OGRE demos. It is a layer on top of ogre4j and because of that it should not be a part of the basic binary distribution. To reuse the framework checkout from SVN.

great that you are interested in using ogre4j. To getting started I recommend you read through the wiki. Last week we added the article http://ogre4j.wiki.sourceforge.net/Eclipse+getting+started. Maybe that helps.
