It would be possible, but a considerable portion of binary code and data is shared between different forms (LADSPA, DSSI, LV2, calfjackhost), so there's not much to gain there. For example, the LADSPA and DSSI .so binaries are really the same file, just loaded differently by the host.
I may consider it in future, but for now there are simply more urgent things to do.
