Ok thanks for the clarification, I won't bother chasing down the get_relationship2() issues.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help on this. I started to take a look at get_relationship() in more detail, but since PHP doesn't have an interactive debugger (like, say, Perl), it quickly became pretty thorny. If you have any tips on effectively debugging/walking through this code...

Thanks for looking into this Greg. I have verified that changing get_relationship() to get_relationship2() fixes the issues that I reported with the test GEDCOM that I submitted.
With my larger dataset, I see some new issues now with get_relationship2(). In particular, some search paths go from father to child to mother to her relatives (instead of husband to wife to wife's relatives). When I...

I found one minor one-way link (in an entry that was not part of the paths). I fixed it and have re-upload the relcharttest.ged file. The issues are still present.
I am running the latest trunk version of PGV from the SVN repository.

ocspd seems to have problems when the crl_auto_reload parameter is set to a value greater than the setting for crl_check_validity (if crl_check_validity is nonzero). The CRL is not automatically loaded at all in these situations.

[Using the latest bits in the subversion repository]
Attached is a GEDCOM file which illustrates specific instances where the relationship chart does not find certain paths between two individuals:
1) pid1=I1, pid2=I15, followspouse unchecked
Only one path is found, through I1's father:
I1 I2 I5 I7 I9 I11 I13 I15
The following path through I1's mother is not found:
I3 I16 I18 I19...
