Hi,
I've had a user reporting a problem with the pen location when using JPen with a Cintiq:
"When I use the pressure module, the stroke appears about 150 pixel to the right and about 50 pixels above the position of the pen on the screen (using a Cintiq) "
http://al.chemy.org/forum/bugs/topic317.html
I have not encountered any problems when using a normal wacom pen tablet...

Ok got it sorted.
Basically the sun java download page will only give you the 64 bit version of JRE if you are using the 64 bit version of Explorer.
So that coupled with me thinking the Program Files (x86) folder was for 64 bit applications, had me scratching my head for a while.
Below is the status report.
Everything seems to be working fine.
I also took out the jpen-2.dll and it seemed...

About the JDK - not sure if it is 64bit?
I did download it fresh from sun and select the x64 download I am pretty sure.
But unlike the jre it is not in the Program Files (x86) folder?
Is there a way to tell?
At any rate the jpen jar works straight away.
Here is the status report:

After checking I found Wintab32.dll in Windows/System32 and also in Windows/SysWOW64.
No sign of wintab64.dll

Hi Nicolas,
My machine is intel - core duo pro 2 I believe.
It is actually a tablet pc so I am not sure how that fits in to the equation.
I can of course use my tablet with it.
I will check that later on tonight hopefully.
Karl.

A little late with this news but...
The latest version of Alchemy now uses JPen for the 'Pressure Shapes' module:

Thanks again for all the hard work on this!
