The configuration section does not appear in the Options dialog. (Btw, I'm using NetBeans 6.7)
An excerpt from the log file:

The erl executable from the erlang distribution is not in your system path. Make sure you can execute erl from a command line/terminal/console/whatever and if yes, your problem will disappear.
