Hi,
Attached is an updated Maven 2 POM file for PDFBox.
This POM file is not designed to replace the Ant build,
just to make it easy for Maven users to quickly build
PDFBox (mvn install) and set it up for IDE integration
(mvn eclipse:eclipse, etc.).

You're right, I've been using Subversion for too long
already. :-)
Unfortunately the -P option doesn't help, CVS apparently
first checks out the directory, and only prunes it
afterwards when it finds it empty.
I'm not sure how this actually could be resolved. I'll
probably need to checkout the tree on...

Having the swallow artifacts, especially the client and
api jars, up at the central Maven repositories (both
Maven 1 and Maven 2) would be very convenient.

The swallow CVS contains a number of Maven "target"
directories within subprojects like servent-main,
servent-css, etc. These directories are automatically
generated by Maven, so it makes no sense to have them
in CVS. It would be better instead to have .cvsignore
files that instruct CVS to ignore the target directories.
To make this issue more critical, there's currently a
target...
