  • where does index.html go?

I need to edit the index.html for my project (readingteacher.sourceforge.net). I can access my user and group directorys using putty and WinSCP. I do not see the current index.html in any of these directories. Uploading the new index.html is not having any effect. Please advise. Thanks, Jon Polacheck.

  • Mailing list not archived: new project

The mailing list "readingteacher-general" is not archived several days after being created. Docs do not seem to address this issue. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jon Polacheck.

  • edit index.html/upload files

I understand that I can upload files for my project (readingteacher) to upload.sourceforge.net. Is this correct? Where is the directory I need to place the files on?.

  • a web app to teach reading using JSpeex

My brother and I have a concept for an open-source web application. The concept is a website that will allow individuals with reading problems to learn effective reading. The approach is inspired by the work of Dr Dee Tadlock with a methodology based on Interactive Constructivist principles. For a concise explanation of Dr Tadlock's innovations in the area of literacy acquisition, reference...

  • web based reading teacher

I have a plan to create a web site that will teach people to read, even if they are completely illiterate. To make this web app work, I need a browser-deliverable audio recorder. The recording need only be accessible to the computer the browser is running on, no upload would be required. Example session; The subject would be given audio of a short sentence to repeat. • save button broken when using IE

The server is running on a SuSE SLES 9 (ppc64) which is itself running on a "partition" on an iseries system. The button works fine in Firefox, but when using IE the button has on effect. I have tried using ssl and various different themes with no change in the failure mode.

  • acl setfacl error "S option invalid"

I have tried editing an acl entry using the File Manger feature using version 1.070 of Webmin in both Mandrake 9.0 and SuSE 9.0. In both cases, when I click the save button in the main window of the ACL interface, I get an error "Failed to set ACL for /XX/XX: setfacl: invalid option -- S". I can set acl entries from the CLI using setfacl. The man page for setfacl does...

  • Comment: using evmsn with /usr unmounted

Logged In: YES user_id=577329 I went with a work-around by using MkCDRec to create a evms-enabled rescue CD. A little cumbersome to reboot to the CD, but the need arises seldom. With the announced bankruptcy of Mandrake, the whole issue may be moot. Thanks for your help, Jon.
