Docfetcher always gives a java exception attached about 30 seconds after I start it. It doesn't kill Docfetcher, just throws the error. I'm running Vista 32-bit Professional.
How is the development of DocFetcher going? Any betas on the horizon?

I have nine indexes, the largest is 65MB.
I select a single index and enter a search term. If I then try and uncheck the tick mark on that index, DocFetcher freezes up for a long time (several minutes). It is quicker to and terminate the application, then start it again!
Great app BTW, I am using it a great deal for large directories on multiple networked drives and it is...

It also happens with .doc files. I haven't tried anything else.
It *may* be something to do with DocFetcher touching the temporary files that Microsoft Word creates in the same folder, since if I close DocFetcher down, then save and close those files in Word, the temporary files remain - and they shouldn't.

If I add a .docx file to a folder which is being monitored by DocFetcher and then try and rename it, I sometimes get the message: "This action can't be completed because the file is open in another program". If I open the file then edit it, I can't save it.
Process Explorer shows me that javaw.exe is locking the file. I can rename (and edit) the file if I close DocFetcher.
