Some reports claim that an extension secretly installed by Microsoft is the cause for the problem. This extension was installed in a recent Microsoft Update, and has been the cause of much problems and controversy.

Please send us your log file so that we can look into this problem further:
1) Locate your profile folder
(http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles#How_to_find_your_profile)
2) Inside this folder, you should see a folder named "firefm". Open it.
3) Inside this folder you'll see a file named "log.txt". Please send this
file to us.

Did this problem appear recently, maybe after an upgrade, or did you install 1.3 and experienced the problem right away? Can you please delete the log file, reproduce, and then send us the resulting log?
