Any of the other moving techniques does not work either? (Mouse drag, hot keys, window menu from systray icon).

That's strange... I have same setup and also using XP. My guess is that you are using some kind of tool/application that has already assigned something to ctrl+alt+.
What applications are you running?.

Does the taskbar problem occur every time or randomly? If you restart VirtuaWin, does the taskbar problem occur even then?.

Something we have never considered, but should be solvable.
But maybe you always want to start on a specific desktop? Then check here:

Source should be available, but link seems to be down:

Try later perhaps.

yes, you are probably right. I mainly use JDT and a couple of more plugins and no resource issues there.

I use Eclipse at work and have not seen this behavior, what windows version are you on (I'm using Vista at work)?
BTW, Eclipse is actually an application framework, java based but with its own widget set (called SWT) so behavior might differ from a plain Java Swing/AWT applications. And the most common use of Eclipse is to use it with the JDT plugin which turns it into a full fledged Java IDE...

Steve, I was thinking the same, want to have it next to start button, but how do you do this?.

Well done Alexey! Just tried it here and works excellent. I have always been negative to these graphical kinds of things (one of the reasons VirtuaWin was created) but this one does not clutter your desktop, I disabled the VirtuaWin systray icon now and uses this instead.

Hi. I guess you upgraded VirtuaWin as well? There was a module that did something like this I think, but it probably didn't work with latest VirtuaWin releases so it was removed from the site.
vm_switcher is probably not that one, but cannot remember for sure. I guess you have to file a feature request for someone to implement a similar module again.
