I would like to see this feature as well.
The scenario in my case is that I've recently started using the KeePass application, which (in the course of its functionality) can copy my passwords to the clipboard.
Obviously it would be preferable to avoid having passwords end up in Ditto's database (where they are visible in plain text).

One further request: It would be great if, while editing the text of a node, a key press of Shift+Backspace had the same function as a press of Backspace. (Currently, a press of Shift+Backspace does nothing.)
