A little while ago we moved from storing cut data in a file (e.g. directors_cut.db) to storing them in the main database. The router recorder, which interfaces to a quartz router, stores them in this way. However, we haven't updated the player to do the same. (By the way, you can cut with keys 1, 2, 3, 4.)

This message means that the timecode at the time of the out-frame was not the same as in-time plus duration.
Usually this happens because the timecode is not locked to the video. For example, if you have two cameras which are not genlocked and take timecode from the first, you may see this message for the second input. Not usually a cause for concern.
