A small solution:
As HP IPAQ has a hardware keyboard, you can use Down-Z to crawl-left andf Down-X to crawl right. Using this with a rotated screen is hardly intuitive, but works.

HP IPAQ has some trouble running this program:
-> Mail button is pause, not shot.
-> Record button (0x84, used for photo in this smartphone) does not work.
-> Tapping screen for fire WORKS.
-> Ipaq joystick can't send two directions at a time, so you can't move up-right. You need to move up then right for jumping right (similar for jumping left).
-> crawling left or crawling...

Hi!
I can exit game by clicking "exit game" at main menu, but... how can I exit to main menu from level selection menu?
Please notice my PDA has a reset button that allows me to exit all apps, but some smartphones could miss this button.

I have a similar problem in IPAQ hw6515. If you assign "fire" to "push joystick" (0x84), it works in the main menu, but it doesn't work in actual gameplay.

You can get the keyboard buttons with the OpenJazz setup (OpenJazz is another part of this project)
