OK, now I understand what you meant by your previous post, but you have misunderstood me. What I meant by empty lines is lines without any text at all, not lines with just []. There were no empty HI-parts in the subtitles to begin with, so leftover brackets (because of using a + instead of an *) are not a problem. What I am left with is something like this: <pre> 1 00:00:21,530...

Hi, ildar, I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by "empty and non-empty HI-parts". The regex you've provided is exactly the same as the one I used (apparently the backslashes have somehow disappeared when I submitted my post to this forum). My only problem is that it leaves behind empty lines, where the HI-part was the only text in a caption. So my question was, how to remove...

I did manage to remove the texts themselves by doing a search&replace with a regular expression (\[.+?\]), but that leaves behind empty captions. Is it possible to remove all empty captions from a file?.

  • Removing HI captions

Hi, Is there a simple way to remove hearing-impaired captions from subtitle files in Gnome Subtitles? HI captions are the ones between [square brackets].

Thanks! Where can I download this revision? Previously, I downloaded 0.4.5 from http://firebirdsql.su/dc/.

  • Tiny fonts in pack and unpack dialog

All the text in the "Pack files" and "Unpack files" dialog is very tiny (see attachments). This appears to happen regardless of the configuration - tried it with defaults. Version: 0.4.5 alpha Revision: 1644M Build: 2009/09/30 i386-Linux-gtk2 (Ubuntu 9.04)

I've figured it out. The problem happens only if the "Show tabstop header" option is disabled.

This might shed some light on the issue: I first installed the application from doublecmd_0.4.0-1.gtk2_i386.deb, then I downloaded version 0.4.5 and copied it to the installation directory. Could it be that the previous version's configuration file is somehow not compatible with 0.4.5?.

The problem does indeed appear to be somehow connected to my configuration. After renaming doublecmd.ini (to reset my configuration), quick search started working normally. When I renamed the file back, the problem reappeared.
