I think that it would be convenient to automatically end the previous effort that is currently open (no ending time). Currently when you create new effort any unfinished effort continues to elapse. For most individuals I would think that they would want to only allow one effort to occur at a time. It might make sense to add a configuration setting.

It would be very helpful if there was a shortcut key while in Task Coach that would allow the user to strike that would pop up the Add Task dialog window.

On Windows I used to appreciate when you would check the completed checkbox that the time would automatically be populated with the current time. For some reason this does not work on Max OS X (Leopard). This was the case for release 0.73 and I just tested 0.74.
