    The problem seems to be that my phone cannot handle theese large amounts of files. When accessing the memory card using the pc I can perform all file operations normally. When using mini-commander on the phone I am not able to delete the map folder. Thus I assume the problem I encountered is not with gpsmid, but with the filesystem implementation in the phone. Is there a possibility not...

    I tried the linked version and I don't get the error, but now I don't get any map displayed when reading from filesystem.Perhaps my phone is too slow... With the released version the old problem only occured with large areas. This problem also happens with single towns.For the town I tried both jar and filesystem version.     Hi, when trying to import openstreetmap data I get a dialog Error parsing /home/..../XXX.osm I dont't get any additional output. This happens i.e. with the file germany.osm.bz2 (of course decompressed) from http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/europe/germany.osm.bz2 Version: Roadnav 0.19 also happens with 0.18 Regards Jürgen.
