This is on RHEL 5 Desktop.
I'm setting up Tripwire. Instead of using vi as it editor, I've set $EDITOR to /usr/local/bin/xemacs. However I still ended up in vi. So I added -V /usr/local/bin/xemacs to the tripwire command and got:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
X server not responding
: ":0.0"
