Make sure that each instance uses a different UDN and of course a different database, so don't just copy a config.xml file, if you do - remove the udn tag, it will be updated automatically if missing.

Hi!

Hi,
I stopped updating libupnp in our tree because it got too difficult to merge because of our patches. It was anyway always the plan to get rid of libupnp completely and replace it with our own library, however we never found time to do so. This may happen at some point though...
Right now even MediaTomb development is stalled because I am currently busy restoring a 33-year old Russian...

Just set the layout to "disabled" in the config.xml as described in the docs, this will leave you only with the "PC Directory", which is what I believe you want.
And yes... doing this should significantly improve import speed.

Kind regards,
Jin.

Well, if you wanted to use MediaTomb, then why did you get that device in the first...

I heard rumors that PS3 devs came to their senses and dropped the DLNA limitation, finally... Could have saved us a lot of work and a lot of nerves if they did this right away ;)

Well, I am not opposed at adding some DLNA hacks (similar to what we did for the PS3), so thanks - nice catch.
I guess I should make those lines depend on the protocolInfo setting in the config.xml? I can add that to SVN.
