  • Followup: RE: '-' or '.' in hostname

Now I get much less entrys in the www-log error.log. That's the result of one 'show.cgi' start [Fri May 29 12:19:15 2009] [error] [client [Client-IP]] (8)Exec format error: exec of '/usr/local/nagios/sbin/nagiosgraph.js' failed [Fri May 29 12:19:15 2009] [error] [client [Client-IP]] Premature end of script headers: nagiosgraph.js [Fri May 29 12:19:19 2009] [error] [client [Client-IP]]...

the /var/www/log/error_log grow very fast too (with debug=0) The entrys are like that: '[Fri May 15 15:43:34 2009] [error] [client 192.168.124.81] flock() on unopened filehandle LOG at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7/ngshared.pm line 86., referer: http://nagios.mader/nagios/cgi-bin/show.cgi?host=[name of host]&service=[name of service]'.

  • Followup: RE: Scaling for Current Load

New knowledge again: 'Current Load' is the only service that is listed in the nagiosgraph.conf under 'maximums' and is used by me. Maybe its depend on that.

  • Followup: RE: Scaling for Current Load

New knowledge again: in the rrd there are values different from 0,1,2,3,4. That means for example '<!-- 2009-05-13 08:25:00 CEST / 1242195900 --> <row><v> 9.2583333333e-02 </v><v> 2.8416666667e-02 </v><v> 8.4166666667e-03 </v></row>' But this is displayed as 0.000 or 1.000 in the graph. So I belief that the error must be in...

  • Followup: RE: '-' or '.' in hostname

further problem after update to 1.3.0: the log-File grow very quick. Only debug=0 stops the fast grow.

  • Followup: RE: '-' or '.' in hostname

After update to 1.3.0 there is a new problem: in show.cgi is in 'Select server' and 'Select service' only Host and the Service displayed and selectable which is given by the URL. 'Optionally, select the data set(s) to graph:' is always empty. In showhost.cgi all servers a present, with correct '.' and '-'.
