I would like to add an other concern to my previous post - since most usb flash drives do not contain a clustering file system such as GFS, or OCFS2, would it not raise a possibility of file system corruption when two different computers are possibly reading and writing on the same disk?.

I would like to verify if my usage plan is possible:
Currently I use Gnome, and when someone puts a flash drive into a USB port, then the flash drive appear on the Gnome desktop.
I would like to connet a usb hub to one linux machine, and have the flash drives that are connected to the hub appear on two different computers Gnome desktops.

I am unable to use passive recently. When using passive I get an IP that is not my external IP. I tried to open the script page on a web browser http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/misc/ip.php, and got an error. I tried to use an other page that shows my IP, but there was no change, so I guess the FileZilla server expects a certain FORMAT for this script result. I would suggest replacing...
