  • groundwater level isolines

Hi all, I have to create groundwater level isolines from point data containing groundwater level values in boreholes and also elevation. I did this only few times and always by hand (using simple triangular network) but I think this could be easier in SAGA. I know, that I can create isolines from grid (already used few times together with Multilevel B-Spline), but I would appreciate some...

Hm, I think this can be made using module for graticule asi Volker said. However I think this creates rectangle shaped graticule. If you want some lines shorter, I think you will have to edit them by hand. For this purpose, I rather use [Kosmo](http://www.opengis.es/) which has better tools for working with vector objects (points, lines, polygons).

I ma not sure if I understanded correctly but maybe he wants to create a graticule with numbering: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/graticule and as I remember, this should be no problem to create in SAGA.

Hm, SF looks to have problem with longer links, so here are the links in shorter version: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable http://tinyurl.com/2kuxlj Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable http://tinyurl.com/4dwx3d.

This is not only problem of Saga - I had the same problem with QGIS here: http://forum.qgis.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4812 So download and install this: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&DisplayLang=en Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable...

  • Followup: RE: different results in SAGA 2.0.3 and 2.0.4

Hi, I did not have much time to test 2.0.4 but this is very important change for me which I should take in account. I agree with you Volker, that this should be user's decision to omit outliers or not. For me, such values sometimes are very important. I will have a look if this also has influence on my work.

  • Non-rectangular cut of grids - possible?

Hi, we are doing airborne measurements where the area of interest (and also the data points) is not rectangle but for example rhomboid. When doing interpolation, I always get "results" also in area with no data points - so this "results" have no sense and some people are then confused. Is it possible to cut these areas from grid or maybe select these "nonsense"...

  • Combining many map tiles in single grid

Hi, we bought some maps which consist of many map tiles - Tiff image + TFW file. I would like create a single map for our area of interrest from them. I can do this manually by importing each single tile via Modules/Import image (with Enforce true colors option) and them merge it with Grid/Tools/Construction/Merging but it takes a lot of time. Is there any easier solution? Thanks.
