For some reason the X_CCINCLUDES variable in
config/local.def is evaluating to "-I" on my system
(Storm Linux 2000 Debian based) and causing the compiler
to ignore the subsequent -c flag and think that you
want to compile every file into an executable which
generates the above message. Removing the reference
to X_CCINCLUDES in config/local.def fixes the problem.
