What's happening?

Followup: RE: Issue adding another instance to cluster

We are adding another web server to a cluster of web servers. These web servers are delegated by a load balance and HA-JDBC is the layer where data is synchronized between these nodes. We've copied the configuration of a Jetty web server to a new instance. As far as we can tell, there is no "identification" associated with the instance. We are a bit stumped.
