Updates stopped working friday last. I figured out what the prooblem was - the search text "NAV 2001 for" is no longer on the web page. I changed the text searcu to "Norton Antivirus 2001 for" and it worked today.
The computer I said had a memory problem actually had a program called zipmagic 4 - this program shows zip files as folders and is known to block Norton...

When I try to get to this site from netscape (punch in
a stock ticker and then go to analyst recommendations)
I get a few lines of text at the top of the browser. If
I turn off Privoxy it works ok. I'm wondering if this
is a referrer issue?
best
brian.

What I'm trying to do is have the exact same setup under both logins. It works fine under administrator, (but I don't think this is such a great idea for the security of the network), but under power user there is the port and color scheme issue. Which file is this in and maybe I can change the file permissions for the user account on that file. On the previous version, I tried setting the user...

Not that I've read the documentation - maybe you could help with that after you've got the settings all figured out. I started out with Outlook express and once upon a time there was a web page on how to set that up.
After that - to get the other programs working together, what I did was search for the programs I was trying to use in the help and other forums.
Do you want Netscape to use...

That worked! Thanks so much for the help.
It runs through 8080 instead of the 8081 I set it to with adduser(?). Admin is set up through 8081. The machine is open access with two email addresses anyone can use on this machine - two users won't be checking mail at the same time. I just blanked out and set the email up under admin and realized too late.
The color scheme (and port) keeps...

Sorry - I looked and they are showing different configuration directories. One is down from documents and settings\application data\[username]\popfile.cfg and the other (admin) is under program files \popfile/popfile.cfg.
What to do?.

I'm wondering how I might copy a corpus with the multi-user 0.21.0a popfile (have upgraded successively from 0.17 or so). I've installed as Admin and it's grabbed the corpus so the user account has a blank history, accuracy, and I presume the corpus is also blank. Right now, both accounts are in the same directory - how should I proceed?.

Hi. I've got the viewer installed on a windows 98
computer (first edition) and I'm trying to access a
windows 2000 computer with the client and server
installed (I opted not to install documentation and web
pages) - on this computer I keep getting a connection
closed whenever I try to access, it seems to do this if
the account on the server computer is logged in as
user, but works ok if...

Ok. Thanks for the information, although I haven't deleted any buckets - some of them just don't get any mail since they were for responses to a classified ad.
I found the other message - not sure why, but when I switched from show all messages to show unread, the message appeared. So the bug is in netscape.
Thanks again,
