Does anyone have a DSmyth installer for a recent CVS version of mythtv? I was forced to upgrade because of a segfault in the release mythtv.
Thanks.

Since this solution worked for my problem I thought I'd post it here so that others looking for it might be able to find it easier. Hopefully it will either get fixed or added to the FAQ.

Thanks, that worked for me too. I suggest using something like "hostname.nowhere" in the default config so this hanging problem doesn't come up. Now I just have to figure out why my myth:// urls aren't working :(.

Unfortunately it appears earlier versions weren't kept around. I encourage the author to make an effort to do so in the future. Maybe I'll try my win2K machine for now instead.

I am currently having the same problem on windows XP. I'm going to try the earlier version and see if it helps any. Please let me know if you get anywhere. :)

I ran into the problem on my server too and was about to try
to patch it when I found this. Thanks for the patch,
unfortunately the lines got wrapped when you sent it so I had
to clean it up a bit before I could apply it.
I also would like to encourage the developers to take the
patch.

Myself and several other users at MIT have had the same problems you describe. Someone who never used TNT before was able to sign on from a particular host, while another friend reported problems from the same host. This makes me wonder if there's some state being contained on the server that once it's broken for you it basically stays broken.
Do we have contact with server developers...
