    Wow. That was fast. Thanks!. I assume that this is only available in the CVS archive. Unfortunately I am not in control of installing applications on my computer -- so I assume I'll have to wait until the next source bundle and/or builds are released. Joe.

    I am taking the difference of two CF-1.0 compliant files obtained from NARCCAP. These files use a 2-D representation of the irregular grid of latitude and longitude: lat(yc,xc) lon(yc,xc) When I do: ncdiff file1.nc file2.nc out.nc the lat and lon variables in out.nc are identically zero.
