Hi, The site plugins are designed to parse HTML pages and return array of named strings. The System Config Item Input / Site PLugin section has a Debug Site Plugin which should be checked, so that you can see what variables are being parsed and what ones are not. There is some user contributed documentation on the site plugins available here...

I am aware of how frustrating it is to use a product for a long time and then have the support of that product pulled out from under you. I ummed and arred over that decision for over a year before finally pulling the plug! If I can help you to migrate to a supported platform that might offer some similar features I will. I would of course be overjoyed if everyone continued to use OpenDb...

Please see https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=3257418&forum_id=115845 I no longer actively contribute to the development of OpenDb, someone will have to take over and update OpenDb to fix this issue. I am happy to provide select developers with SVN access, and if possible hand over the admin access to a responsible party. Cheers Jason.

  • Followup: RE: Restore

No - the XML formats between versions are not compatible. The new export format in 1.5 is vastly different from that in 0.81, even a 1.0 XML format has quite a few differences. You would need to install 0.81 again, install the backup.sql - the xml format does not backup everything, whereeas the backup.sql does. Then you should upgrade from 0.81 to 1.5.0.4 via the installer. I cannot even...

It sounds like you might not have completed the installation successfully. Was this a new installation or an upgrade? Are you using table prefixing? What version of php / mysql / operating system. You need to provide oeple with more info.

  • Followup: RE: MySQL 'Root' User credentials

Hi Matthew, Since no one else has been able to answer, I will provide you some info. What you need to provide is a user with CREATE DATABASE privileges, which in most cases will be the root user. However the best compromise is to create the bare database in cPanel, but don't install any tables or anything else. Then add an 'opendb' user (your new SQL user basically) which has all the...
