That's just what I needed, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

CamStudio crashed when merging the AVI and WAV files because of a disk space issue. However, I found both the AVI and WAV file in the temp directory and verified they are ok. How can I merge them together? I'm using v. 2.0.
Thanks,
-Jason.

That isn't something I've worked on. If you send me a patch I can put it in the next release.
Cheers,

That's right it keeps track of the last time it ran. You don't need to put a -d on it, just let it run with no flags and it should be find.
I would change your crontab entry, though, to only run once an hour (or something less frequent than every minute).

Calling the php file manually does run it. Just turn on the debug flag (-d) to see what it is doing. It might not be running because you set the period of how often you want it to run on the ocs inventory server.

I'm going to guess it was the 4.2 release. It did fix some bugs -- esp. in the arena of new intel macs.
We have it run via our pre-established OSX dmg file and it works fine so I don't think it's that.

Did you reboot your computer? It only runs at bootup. If you still don't see it you should run /usr/local/sbin/ocs_mac_agent.php from the command line to see what is happening.

To change the port number you only need to append it with a colon to the hostname (I think! I've never actually tried). To rebuild the package you will need to use Package Maker which is an OSX app that comes with the development tools CD. I don't know of any way to build the package on Windows.

The best way to deploy this package is using Apple Remote Desktop (ARD). That will allow you to remotely install the package on all your macs. However, to do this you would need to customize the package first with your ocsinventory server details which is a bit of a pain. Since you only have a few Macs I would suggest just installing it by hand on each of them.
