It would be nice if this program were upgraded to use
the gnome2 libraries instead of gnome1.

When I am playing vs another gbnclient or vs a robot
(if I get the first shot) I never get feedback in the
right side maps showing where I've fired.

The robots do not appear to do anything beyond updating
to say "My Turn".
This is happening with the version in Debian 3.1,
v1.0.4-4, and the latest (this morning) from CVS.
Following the code from CVS it appears it does
"board_ok" and then says "'ready_to_play' is not
implemented yet" afterwhich it sits around polling for
more input.

The simpymud-0.2 archive drops all files into the
current directory like a bad zip would, instead of
creating a simpymud-0.2/ directory and putting all the
files in there.
Having the sub directory is even nicer as the .pyc
files are dropped into the directory when you run mud.py.

MSN logs in far enough to transfer my contacts, but
then a dialog showing that it's trying to connect to
one of the messenger servers other than the primary
that it hits first and it will stay there for hours
(longest I've waited is two hours.) and won't stop
until I click cancel.
I've attached the output from the console when trying
to connect w/ MSN debugging turned on. Phone numbers...

Hi,
I didn't know if this is something I've done wrong or a bug, so I'm posting here first.
When I try to connect to MSN, Ayttm seems to connect to messenger.hotmail.com. The first time it connected it transfered my contact list down from the server. Then ayttm gets redirected to another random server and it will keep attempting to connect for as long as I've been willing to wait (up to an...

I have felt no need or desire to install anything but the latest FrontPage server extensions, starting with 2000 and now 2002. As I read around about people providing sites with FP extensions and the Unix ports, I still see a lot of 2000 and 98 extensions out there.
I thought a good discussion on why you would want to run FP 98 or 2000 extensions when you can install the 2002 extensions...

There are at least three third-party mod_frontpage implementation for Unix like operating systems that I am aware of. I think that having a discussion of thier history, url's and how they interrelate will help people as they search for a solution that fits their needs.
The official port is by Ready to Run software, www.rtr.com.
I don't know if any open-source code was developed before they...
