It was my bug (a crash, which is why you got no feedback). Should be fixed now. Sorry about that.

I have multiple test accounts set up to receive newsletters and headlines and they continue to work just fine. It's 99+% likely that the problem is with your email provider. Check your junk/spam folder too.

Thanks for clarifying. Marking this closed, as 1968230 is.

All these complaints except IMHO the last one are valid, though I can't personally vouch for the image upload problem. This isn't something that the Slash dev team can fix (so we'll be closing this out as Invalid shortly), but I've passed along your comments to the sf.net team. Thanks for taking the time to compile these.

That's normal if you have a good moderation history.

I may actually have to look into this, I don't know offhand whether our open-proxy-detection code would correctly handle a proxy returning a "302 go look it up yourself". Also I don't know why it would report port 1 as the proxy if it wasn't.
Shouldn't take too long to check.

This slashd error should change an account's password and invalidate any existing logtokens. Actually we should probably change password and invalidate logtokens whenever a user changes their email address.

Sorry, part of the point of moderation is that it's time-limited. Also, pretty much every single time I see a "mod parent up" post its parent gets modded shortly thereafter (one way or another!) so I don't think this is a pressing need.

This issue gets raised every so often. We're working on an overhaul that may largely eliminate these concerns. Meanwhile, it works well enough.
