You need to get the files for windows, http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/MPlayer-mingw32-1.0rc2.zip
It seems that the windows version on the site is outdated, but probably newer than the one included.
If you running linux then you may be able to get them from your package manager, and then edit the php to point to the correct place.
