I am extremely sorry about this problem and the amount of time I've spent not paying attention to it. I've spent quite a bit of time and energy trying to get the version to work with all possible forms of Maxima. If the form of Maxima is one I haven't tested with, it will warn the user but try to use it anyway. I've also made the input tester a good deal less brittle, so these problems...

ar should be interpreted as single variable with the name "ar", just like the expression pi will represent the variable "pi" rather than p*i. To get multiplication, you have to use either a space between the variables or a '*'.

I try to upload screenshots for my project by going to
screenshots and then clicking on Admin Screenshots. I
can then add Screenshots which get displayed. But as
soon as I leave the screenshots page, even after trying
to update, all screenshots are removed. Do I need to
do something different to finalize it, or it a mistake?.

Update: When I downloaded the files, I found that the
source file was correct. The file containing the
executable, however, was corrupted, as confirmed by
downloads on two different machines, both different from the
original machine.
I'm going to try uploading it again later today.

Well, it seems to work with Firezilla. It still *claims* it
can't create the file, but it shows up in the directory
after I transfer it, and I can include it in the release,
with the correct file size. I still haven't tested how well
it works when downloaded, so we aren't out of the woods
quite yet.

I can log on to the upload server using
ftp upload.sourceforge.net
I can view the files in the initial login by typing 'dir'
I cannot see files in the incoming directory when I
type 'dir'
When I try to upload my file (e.g. 'put MathDragn.zip';
and yes I'm in the right directory on my machine) the
result is:
200 PORT command succesful. Consider using PASV.
