  • Comment: Code sign the Radmind tools for Mac OS X

I recently came across an open source Twitter client that does. It's called Canary, and it's at: Note that code signing can be done with a self-signed identity; it does not require chaining to a commercial authority. I believe we would just want to make the public identity public.

  • Comment: Negotiate SSL

My immediate reaction is that it is a lot of options but that's to be expected when setting both a minimum and maximum. What about having -w continue to set a floor, but allow negotiation to allow higher levels if they are present? This would make it more like -Z, although they would be opposites (which is perhaps called for by their function). I think using -z is confusing since it's...

  • Comment: lcreate overwrite server transcripts

I would be happy to just have the server remove transcripts and files for loadsets whose upload was incomplete or otherwise failed (perhaps after a timeout). I haven't used any of the PAM options with Radmind and don't know if this in any way assists with user's ability to overwrite loadsets upon lcreate. However, whether or not enabling PAM support allows more authentication and...

  • Comment: Support multiple checksum array for each transcript line

I originally brought this up on one of the Radmind lists a few years ago, but I never made a formal request for the tracker. So, I thought I'd do it now. While I understand that lcksumming transcripts is an option, it doesn't necessarily provide a lot of dynamic configuration options. It also means that you're changing all of your transcripts, which could be considered destructive -- and...

  • Comment: Manage ACLs on Mac OS X

If it is not obvious, I would like Radmind to support ACLs on all platforms, not just Mac OS X. I am aware that it doesn't support ACLs on Mac OS X right now, however, and that's an area of need.

  • Add option to disallow wildcards in subconfig files

    - Summary Provide a descriptive summary of the issue. - The config file includes option should provide an ability to exclude all wildcard patterns in sub config files. - This would allow admins in a federated environment to delegate access to a sub config file with the confidence that administrators of those config files would not be able to put * or...

  • Comment: lcreate overwrite server transcripts

I agree with this, as it always requires a trip to the server to delete transcripts I've uploaded before I discovered an error or omission.
