Marcio, I did it a couple years ago. There was a no cost option at the time so long as you didn't use them in a commercial product. I had to sign about 4 or 5 pages of agreements with them though. I don't know if there policy has changed since then. -John.

  • Followup: RE: Problems to Install lx-viewer

Read the readme.txt file. It will answer both your questions. There is no confgure and the DWGdirect libraries are not what you need. I have posted the pertinent info here from the readme.txt: Library files You must have the QT *development* libraries 3.0.5 (or newer) installed plus the OpenDWG Linux library files /ad2.a/ and /ad3.a/. There are several OpenDWG header files which we...

You will need the files ad2.a and...

It is very useful to me. Our company has loads of drawings done with AutoCAD 2000 and older. Linux needs a good CAD viewer.

  • Cups printing problem

I just installed LX-viewer on a machine with Ubuntu Linux 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). Everything works great except I can't print to our network printer (HP LaserJet 8000) through Cups. The printer shows up in the dialog box and acts as if it printed but nothing comes out. I checked the Cups jobs log using http://localhost:631 and no jobs show up. Is there some kind of environment variable that...

  • Username is already registering

I am running Thunderbird 1.5.0.10 on Windows XP SP2. I installed Spamato but the registration process got screwed up. I uninstalled Spamato and deleted it's configuration directory. I reinstalled the plugin but now I get an error that says "Username is already registering ..... it is therefore locked for some hours". Will this ever go away?.
