Dear Manu
Thanks a lot!
I will deeply analyze my library and perform some more tests.
Then I'll sure let you know. Since the problem arises with a very large number of
threads, it is not easy to me to understand where the problem lies.
Actually, since the problem did not appear until 7.1.1, I contacted you.
But for now do not worry: I'm going to try some other tests...and of course I'll...

Hi again. perhaps this can help about DevErrorList destruction problem.
At client shutdown, I got a segmentation fault and this time the backtrace is perhaps more useful:
Core was generated by `./bin/synoptic'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

Dear manu, I avail myself of the occasion to signal another problem I am encountering, which unfortunately I cannot debug by means of a valid backtrace.
In my library I have a list of pairs time_t/DevError list.
QList logs;
Normally I push_back pairs on it, and when the list grows, I pop_front(). It seems that that pop_front() causes an
aborted signal...

Hi Manu! Yes, this might be the case. I am using tango 7.1.1 Do you mean I have to pass the fully qualified attribute name to subscribe_event()? (The problem seems to take place there). Is this feature backward compatible?
I post another backtrace of the same failure in subscribe_event(), a bit deeper, just to let you know.
Thanks Manu
Giacomo
