On Wednesday, November, 4th, the release IPFIRE-wall-1.99.7 was released.
This version supports ubuntu 9.10 with its new 2.6.31 kernel.
No updates involve the "iqfire" graphical interface.
People who installed ubuntu or kubuntu 9.10 are interested in the
upgrade, and everyone who is running kernel 2.6.31.
There is an error in the Makefile at line 119.

I will send you back the Makefile I used to compile with the -fPIC option in the shared library.
