Ok, but my network is plane and it does not used gateway. I think the Problem is that the BMC is not listen for port 623. I did "telnet 192.168.253.xxx 623", telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
It happen in some servers.

Hello, i need monitoring sensor some machine. I have problem, my problem is it:
- Connecting to node 192.168.253.92 192.168.253.92
- ipmilan_open_session error, rv = -3
- ipmilan BMC receive failed
- ipmi_open error = -3
- pefconfig, error -1
what possible solutions?

we want to see the disk slot alarm. We use the comand
ipmiutil alarms -N 172.17.64.57 -U admin -P password
but shows no alarms. And the documentation says :
"[....] Note that a LAN user must have Administrative privileges to read or write the alarm LEDs.[....]"
