The project "codeshui" created by me, with me as the only member, never got off ground. No code ever released. Please remove.

How about "Consolation"? At least, that's what it's giving to me, when I have to suffer the CMD.EXE. :-)
Also, Googling on Consolation seems to dig up no other software with that name.

Unfortunately I can't upgrade cygwin, since it's on my work computer and more up-to-date versions break our complicated build system. :( However, I tested on my home computer with a more modern cygwin, and I couldn't reproduce the problem, so it's likely a cygwin issue. (Or at least, upgrading cygwin helps it).
I'm closing this bug. Thanks for the assistance!

I'm using a somewhat older bash, version 3.00.16(14)-release (i686-pc-cygwin).
When I opened the hidden console, it had the same problem of updating the title as the normal tab in Console2. However, when I run bash directly (Start -> Run... -> C:\cygwin\bin\bash.exe), the title changes correctly. Also, when I use rxvt to run bash (as I did previously to discovering Console2), the title...

When I used my old-and-proven expression for the bash prompt, the title was not updated when I changed to my home directory, which is expressed as the string "~" by bash, nor when I change to the root directory (expressed by "/").
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install cygwin.
2) Open a new tab with bash.exe in Console2
3) Set the prompt with the following command:
export...

My mistake; the functionality already was there. However, there was a bug due to the handling of the ~ character. I'll open a separate bug report on that instead.

I'd really love to have the ability to open new tabs in an existing window, much like the way a new tab will open in my existing Firefox window if I click on a link in another program.
This way I could create a shortcut running something like:
console.exe -t bash -o -r "some command"
(if -o would be the name of the new command line option to reuse an already opened window)
and get a new...

I'd like to have the ability to set different fonts for different tab types. If I could do that, it would be even easier to distinguish between e.g. bash and CMD tabs, just by looking at the font.

I have configured my Firefox not to close when I close the last tab. I think Console2 should be able to behave the same way.
I realize this kind of behaviour might not appeal to everyone, so it should probably be an option.

A feature I like from my Firefox (with the Tab Mix Plus extension) is the ability to get a duplicate tab by double clicking on it.
It would be great if this feature could be implemented in Console2.
In a dream scenario, the new console tab would open in the same working directory as the original tab. I'm not sure how complicated this would be, though, and if it's hard I'd be more than...
