  • Update for Gaim2?

Is there any chance of an update for the Gaim2 beta builds? Please?.

  • Comment: "Update Special..." defaults to -A

Logged In: YES user_id=149923 Tnx. I can see that you are correct, but what I was trying to say is that all I want is to issue a "cvs update -dP" command, but the interface defaults to re-setting (or resetting, for "HEAD") the sticky tag that should already be there. ie Is it necessary to have a default revision/branch/tag name in there at all?.

  • "Update Special..." defaults to -A

Using TortoiseCVS 1.6.6 on Windows XP. CVSROOT=:pserver:ian@DEV-2:/esp. By default our team runs with the option to create directories on an update disabled. When using "Update Special...", as can be seen in the attached screenshot, TortoiseCVS always defaults to selecting "Get tag/branch/revision" with a value of HEAD. If you simply check the box to "Create missing subfolders",

  • Followup: RE: connection problems (freezing gaim)

What I mean (ie what happens to me) is that gaim, as a whole locks-up. I have to terminate the process and re-run, remembering not to connect my the Blog.

  • connection problems (freezing gaim)

Not sure what is going on here, but for the last week or so, if I try and connect to my Blogger account it freezes out gaim and I have to terminate it. Don't know if anything has changed that would bring this on. I'm using Gaim 0.74 and Gaim-Blogger 0.70 on Windows XP. Please help - it was really useful to be able to maintain my blog this way.

  • Followup: RE: focus question

Had a similar problem after upgrading to 0.71. I found that if I turned off the "flash window" option and saved then turned it back on again, all was working once more.

  • Followup: RE: Problems compiling CyGnome 2.2.x

Thanks very much! I have now progressed past the whole freetype/fontconfig/Xft library shenanigans. I await with bated breath the next problem! ;)

  • Problems compiling CyGnome 2.2.x

I'm trying to compile the cygnome 2.2.1 and I'm having some problems. Initially I missed the part about needing the latest freetype/fontconfig/Xft and so had got as far as libgnomecanvas before failing needing pangoft2. Back-tracking from there I eventually spotted that I needed updated freetype/fontconfig/Xft libraries so downloaded them from the various sites. - Freetype 2.1.4...

  • Odd "tasklist" applet behaviour

I have a problem which crops up every now and again... currently it's back, and it has bugged me enough to actually ask if anyone else has encountered it (and hopefully solved it). When I did an update of CyGnome recently, all was working brilliantly (I use sawfish and panel in rootless mode) - the tasklist applet displayed all running applications and didn't include the "panel" or...
