I'd say, go into the manager and replace everything including and after the # with .*, as the manual states. Try that, and get back to me!

Something is wrong with the FTP server. I can't put stuff in upload.sf.net's incoming directory! Hard to release new software...
Add this to Internote, or fix the FTP server!

Here’s a quick update for you guys…
Adding support for Firefox 2.0 (coming Tuesday!), a new Korean localization, and some small bug fixes.

Now I remember what it MAY have been related to. One of the first versions to
work with UTF8 (2.0.5, I think) still had a small mistake when handling UTF8
strings and could occasionally cause a very large Internote file. I suppose that
reading that in could crash it....?
That's why I'm pulling the priority down - this may already be fixed.

I've gotten this from a few people, all of whom use the German language
localization (as far as I can see in my Inbox).
They say that Internote causes the 'a script is causing Firefox to become
unresponsive' dialog to appear. I'm not sure why this is happening and
have never been able to duplicate it - not even with the German language
Firefox.
I'd love to fix this one, but I don't...

I think I found the problem: Google Browser sync. Read below.
Ok, here are my extensions:
Japanese Language Pack 1.5.0.1 (Disabled, the version is too old for Firefox
1.5.0.4 but it won't let me uninstall)
Flashblock 1.5.1
Google Browser Sync 1.2.2006.08.02.0
Flat Bookmark Editing 0.7.5

I'm trying to use your Internotes plugin, it looks really
promising...except it doesn't work.
I can create notes, and *sometimes* they appear and I can type text.
But if I go back to the page later, they are invisible. They are in
the notes manager though.
I'm using:
Debian unstable, kernel 2.6.16
Firefox 1.5.0.4
Internotes 2.1
Are there any settings or other extensions that...

This is version 2.1.0.
He came back to report that, even with all extensions disabled, he has the same
problem. I also installed all of his extensions (image of his extension manager
attached), and cannot duplicate his problem, even on Windows XP.
