This bug is still not fixed. Why not? The bug is confirmed
and there is
a working patch..
Could somebody please just apply the patch?.

irc even allows accounts with the same screen name _and_ server (and
this is what i would have expected).
there are situations where one might want two accounts for the
same server with the same screen name but different settings...

it is not possible to have two silc-accounts with the same
screenname. different screennames work ok, but if you have
one configured silc-account and click on "Accounts/Add" and
enter some account data that has the same screen name,
the "Add" will behave like a "Modify". After you click
"Save", you still have just one account and that account
has the settings of the one you just t.

When setting two silc-channels to "auto join" in,
gaim segfaults immediately after setting up
the connection.
This happens on startup with "auto login" accounts
as well as when connecting to an account manually.

moin,
when using the silc plugin, normal silc on the silc-network
works fine, but public key authentication for private
servers is broken if the key has a passphrase..
someone posted a patch here:
