  • Burn does not perform upgrade correctly

    Using WiX v3.6.2823.0. Repro Solution is attached. MSI installs one file in a per usre scenario. Burn is configured to install the MSI using the standard bootstrapper. After raising the product version on both the bootstrapper and the msi, the bootstrapper wants to install a new copy of the setup instead of performing an upgrade. Repro steps: 1. Compile solution 2.   • IntelliSense for TagExtension is not installed correctly

    Using Wix v3.6.2816.0 and Visual Studio 11 beta. IntelliSense for the new TagExtension was not installed. Had to manually add the schema file.

    Given a Burn (v3.6.2610.0) package with one MSI inside. If I execute the bootstrapper multiple times, I always get the "Install" sequence.
