Often, spammers will find a registration form long after the game is closed, and once they've found it, it's no use removing the form.
We need some way to block registrations centrally.

AKKAR will hang for several seconds before loading each page when running on a Windows server.
This is because calculating the total space AKKAR takes is very slow in Windows. Removing this will help - for example by using the custom footer option available since 2.4.0.

The way backup is done today has several problems that classify as bugs. Most notably:
* Backups taken in a previous version contains the database structure from that version. Restoring from that backup will nullify any database changes between versions.
* Likewise, the config table is overwritten. This means AKKAR will display the previous version number as well.
Today, a restore will...

Line 647 in lang/eng.php reads:
$LANG['MESSAGE']['contact_admin'] = "Please contact the administrator.";
This is not a very good way to do it, as the admin email address then can be harvested by spammers, since this string shows up in error messages from the public submission forms. Instead, the link should be hidden in a script...

If you create a new player registration from within
AKKAR, and assign a portrait to it, that portrait will
become unlinked and never show up in that registration
or any other. It won't even show in the list of unknown
portraits.

You can assign multiple character concepts to a single
character, but only one will show in the edit character
screen.

Some organiser groups have transient members, and it
isn't certain that the core members want all event
organisers to view details of all games. Therefore, I
propose a visibility switch for each organiser per game
- if it hasn't been set that a certain organiser can
view details of a game, that game will be invisible to
that organiser. Coordinators will be able to set
permissions for...
